People behind storytelling a story teller:
Today each and every country has a tradition of storytelling of its own, which reflects its culture and tradition. Storytelling generally consists of stories or fables which are in the form of myths, legends, fairy tales, ghost stories, stories of famous people, etc. The job of a Story Teller is to narrate a story in such a manner that it not only entertains the audience but also delivers the message or moral of the story in a remarkable manner. For this purpose Storytellers usually have a style and method of their own which makes each Storyteller unique in his own way. But there are some common things that each Story Teller follows while delivering a story.
First of all every story has a beginning, middle and the end. The Storytellers usually divided the story into these three parts and point out the important parts or incidents from the story. They then along with their expertise focus on these points while narrating a story and bring in suspense, amazement and curiosity among the listeners. The Storyteller uses certain gestures, facial expressions, body language and change in tone and pitch of voice to bring the character or event into life. All these things depend upon the talent and skills of the Storyteller. A successful Story Teller is one who mesmerizes his audience by his art of narrating the story. Even a simple and ordinary story can be narrated in a fantastic manner by a skilled Storyteller.
