The second story at shabaash india show was of a very little seven year old brave girl Kumari Ankita Ashok Bhosle. she lives in Malwadi Village, Satara of Maharashtra.
On the day of 3 June 2005, Ankita and her eight year old brother Atish and there mother gone to Urmodi river to wash clothes. so many other women also goes there to wash clothes and at the time there was three more women washing clothes at the bank of river. Atish was playing and suddenly he slipped in to deep water and started drowning. ankita’s mother and two other ladies jumped to the water to rescue.
Mona Dinkar Shelake was also there and watching all the incident, suddenly she also slip in to the water. Ankita tried to save them all, she took a Saree from bundle of cloths threw it towards Mona who was drowning. Mona caught the end of Saree and ankita pulled her to the bank of river. Mona was safe now.
Ankita’s Mother, brother and another two people died in the accident but ankita have save one life of Mona Dinkar Shelake.
